OFFICIAL SECTION
Of international nature, the official section houses all kinds of film genres. A diverse mosaic of themes in which the personality of its films reinforces the social aspect and values of its artists.
The selected shorts will be screened in hour-and-a-half sessions to qualify for all the awards of the festival either of economic, formative or distributive value.
VALENCIAN SHORT FILM SECTION
The Valencian short films have their own place VALENCIAN SPECIAL SHORT FILMS, all of them, produced in any of the two official languages. They aim for several prizes: ELS PREMIS TIRANT AVANT for the best Valencian short films and the Audience Award.
This creates a space to share ideas, doubts, talk about other festivals of promotion options and dissemination of their shorts, a meeting point for all Valencian professionals and fans.
EXPERIMENTAL SHORT FILMS SECTION
In the 19th edition of the Radio City International Short Film Festival, a new short film modality was created as a result of the collaboration between two professors from the Polytechnic University of Valencia: Carlos García Miragall (DSIC) and María José Martínez de Pisón (D. Painting) with the organization of the Festival, coordinated by Natalia Lozano, former student of the UPV. Currently, we continue with this exclusive modality for valencian productions.
In this space we also offer parallel activities during the festival that are aimed at students or professionals, since its activities have an educational-cultural nature by including conferences and live presentations of Live cinema.
The objective is to actively support young people by offering a place for meeting, dialoguing and exchanging knowledge on the subject. Due to the educational-cultural nature of the proposal, this objective is reinforced by the involvement of the speakers in different activities: conferences, jury and Live Cinema sessions.
To participate in the special show Live cinema and video creation, at the Radio City headquarters, you must comply with the special rules for this modality.
